Opening Day Ceremonies, April 29

The 2019 Joplin Little League Baseball Opening Day Ceremonies is scheduled for Monday, April 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Joe Becker Stadium, and the community is invited to come out and support our kids!

Now entering its 68th year of operation, the League's opening day festivities are an ongoing tradition shared by volunteers and members, including the 468 children participating this year on 42 teams.

The evening will feature a color guard salute, team introductions, community partner recognitions, activities for children, and an exhibition game featuring this year’s Senior League players, along with a special appearance by a favorite bird of many young baseball fans in the Ozarks area.
