An update from the Joplin Little League Baseball Board of Directors
Dear Joplin Little League Baseball Family,
Following the recommendation and guidance of Little League International, the JLL Board of Directors has decided to postpone the start of our 2020 season activities by two weeks.
Practices will now begin the week of April 6.
Though there are currently no known cases in Jasper County, we want to be proactive in guarding the health of both our league families and our local community.
Because the CDC has recommended avoiding large gatherings of people, we have further decided to forego our customary league-wide Opening Ceremonies on April 20, and will instead begin games the week of April 27.
This is a rapidly evolving situation, so please like and follow our Facebook page and continue monitoring your email for league-wide updates in case we need to make further adjustments. The most current information about the virus is available from the CDC and from the Missouri Department of Health.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns!
